Local Economy Link to this Article Local Economy is a reflection of the total population and wealth of the planet with some variance from Global Economy thrown in. Planets with more numerous, larger, and richer colonies will have a stronger local economy then backwater outposts in the middle of nowhere. The higher the Local Economy is on the planet your colony is on, the more wealthy your colonists will be and therefore the more money your colony will make in taxes. A graph of the Local Economy of the planet your colony is on is available by clicking on the History button in the resource section of the Colony Overview. Last Modified By: apache1990 on 09-11-2007
